on staff and I have really enjoyed meeting and having
friendships with students from places I never knew how
to pronounce! I know what it can be like, being away

student twice, once in Kenya and another time in the

from Bangladesh! For those of you who never heard of me, I was
a student at IPFW from Spring 1999 to Summer 2001 and during
that time period I started going to Nick's house for meetings
and all other fun activities. I can honestly say that it helped
me forget my homesickness, I developed spiritually, and most
importantly, I made so many friends! I have since left Fort Wayne
but the friendships and encouragements that I received at Global

Global
Christian Fellowship has been an awesome opportunity for me
to meet people from all over the world and have a better appreciation
for other cultures. It is exciting that there is such a great
diversity of students in the Fort Wayne area. I have had a
lot of great conversations with people and a lot of laughs
in just hanging out. People are very genuine and friendly who
come out each week for either Bible study or culture break.
I encourage any international student or any American student
who has a heart to learn more about the world from a first
hand experience to come join the group. We have a lot of great
memories together and can be a support system for people struggling
with just coming to the United States or even moving to a different
city and making friends. I want to thank each and every student
that I have already met and for their friendship and the fun
times we have had together. As long as I am in Ft. Wayne, I
will continue to be a part of GCF and to stay in contact with
international students. I thank God for Nick and Alane, Kelly,
the servant team, and the worship team and all their hard work
to reach out to new students and make them feel welcome. For
all the new students on campus, come out and have some fun
on Sunday evenings and get connected with GCF. Hope everyone
who reads this website will be encouraged by people who love
the Lord and want to make a difference in people's lives. |

GCF...haha...its awesome. When I initially got involved with
the group, it seemed like something interesting and captivating.
I got to meet lots of international people. It was the first
